Will the AI make things up?
It answers only from your FAQs, documents and website pages, and prices on product cards come straight from your shop. When it doesn't know, it says so, offers a person and adds the question to Missing answers. Like any AI it can still get something wrong, so every answer appears in your inbox, and customers can say whether it helped or ask for a person.
Do I need a developer?
No. On WordPress, install our plugin and paste your site ID. On Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace and other sites, paste one code snippet; ConvoZip shows you where for each one.
Which chat apps does it connect?
LINE today, with Facebook Messenger and Instagram coming soon, all into the same inbox. Customers keep writing to you in the app they already use, their messages arrive with their name and photo, and your replies go back to them there.
Which languages does it speak?
The AI answers in the language your customer writes in. The chat's own buttons and messages come in 100 languages and follow your website's language.
Will the AI answer all the time?
That's up to you. For your website chat and each chat app separately, choose Off, Always or Outside office hours.
What counts as an AI reply, and what if I run out?
Every answer the AI sends a customer counts, including a follow-up question or “I don't know”. Handover messages, Copilot drafts and test chats don't. We email you at 80% and 100%. If you run out, the AI stops taking new chats and your team answers them, until next month or until you add AI credits.
What happens after the free trial?
Your chat, chat apps and inbox keep working. The AI and Copilot pause until you choose a plan, and nothing is deleted.
Can my team use it on their phones?
Yes. The inbox works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen. Phone notifications are coming soon.
I run several businesses. Do I need several accounts?
No. Each business gets its own inbox, brand, knowledge, team and plan, and if you run two or more you can answer all their chats from one list.
Is my customers' data safe?
Each business's conversations are kept separate, and only its own team can see them. The chat on your website uses no cookies, and your chat-app keys are stored encrypted. An owner can delete the organization and all of its data at any time.
